Normally I try to credit the photos and clip arts I use in my blog but I found this one all over. I don't know who really deserves the credit. If they aren't upset about the for profit websites using it, hopefully they won't get upset about me using it on my blog, where I pretty much just ramble on to myself anyway :P
I have been doing battlegrounds for gear for a while now and I've noticed it is depressing. Why? Because there's so much darn negativity in there. People saying "it's over" when the hordies only have 1 flag! Just one! Or, "wtf is everyone doing?" Well, if everyone isn't with Mr WTF, my guess is he/she's the one who needs a clue, especially if he/she is typing.
People contradict one another too. "Don't fight in the middle." Well one of the most successful battleground I had been in, the flag carrier saw the opposing flag carrier and pursued him right in the middle of Warsong Gulch while I healed. He dropped off every one of them and ran to plant the flag. They were flagless and all the way at their base and had no chance to catch us. Quickest WSG ever!
I've noticed that when people say more positive things or joke around with one another, we seem to do better.
How do we fight back? Well, I told Mr WTF that it appeared that he was typing instead of helping. He didn't have a comeback, I was sure he would. And to those who say "it's over," I like Grnpeace's response, "do you roll over for your boyfreind that easily too?" Or something like that. I've probably ruined it. I'm sure he'll correct me later. I thought he said girlfriend but what guy wouldn't say "yeah?" As for all the negativity in general... I'm still trying to come up with things but in the meantime, I had good luck this morning in AV. They seemed to be mature and cooperative players. Not really any speaking what so ever in chat. I joined the queue immediately after exiting and ended up with the same really good players. We had our assigned duties down pat. I had my next piece in 1/4 of the time I would of if I had stayed up later than I did Saturday night. The hordies were all up camping their bosses to make it take longer for us to get honor. They frequently lose AV on Muradin and I think they are kinda peeved about it. Thank goodness they need sleep too. Oh, and I didn't have Grnpeace yelling next to me, freaking out my dogs either. He has been PO'd so many times during a fight that my dogs get afraid when they hear my priest spell jumping (it jumps when we are dying and therefore when he yells the most). Well, pretty much just Angel. Smokey pretends to be afraid so he doesn't feel left out.
For further reading, check out this story at WoW Pro about fighting in Arathi Basin. The author also lists out healing order in that instance which is helpful for those who may not even have given it much thought. I would think it would also apply for the order of attack for tanks.
